Hello, lovelies!

How are you guys? I hope the new year is treating you well thus far. Winter has come back with a vengeance in Canada and it’s been cold and bleak for far too long. I can’t wait for spring to return.

Things I’ve been working on:

  • sequel to Follow You Down
  • next chapter of Second Chance. Not sure when the update will be though, because I still haven’t found the right “situation” for a certain scene.

What I’ve been watching:

  • Mary Kills People (rec’d by a friend). It’s about a doctor who helps patients commit suicide, which is illegal in Canada. Two seasons, 6 episodes each, enjoyed the characters and the central romance.
  • The Good Place

What I’m looking forward to:

  • BLACK PANTHER!!! Woohoo. Have my ticket already for this Friday and I’m so psyched. So much black excellence on a big IMAX screen, and I can’t wait!
  • FiCi
  • Elcin’s new show. Now I’ve never watched Kerem in anything but I’ve seen his interviews and he’s hot. Hopefully he’s as magnetic on screen as he is during interviews. I’m excited to watch Elcin and him as a couple.

What are you guys watching? Or excited about? Is it cold where you are or you one of those lucky ones who experience beautiful weather 24/7?

  1. Hello just wanted to know if youโ€™re gonna write other stories about Omer and defne ? Cause Iโ€™m in love with all of yours works and Iโ€™m missing it ๐Ÿ™

    1. I’m still working on Second Chance. As for other fanfics, I’m a slave to my muse – if she strikes, then I’ll definitely write it but I can’t guarantee anything at this point. Sorry ๐Ÿ™

  2. Yes please! I totally agree with you! Please make other stories!
As for what I’ve been doing, I’ve been trying to get a bit out of TV and smartphone so I haven’t been watching TV shows for a while or only sometimes with my family. I’ve been trying to focus more on real life, spending more time with my family and friends, doing different activities and I must admit it’s been great and I’ve had a lot of fun. Please update soon!

    1. Spending time with friends and family (in my case not all family, just some) is great. Glad you’re enjoying yourself!

  3. Hi, I was wondering if Follow you down will be made available as epub.
I fell in love with the short bit I could read on Amazon, but I don’t have a Kindle so I can’t buy it =/ .

    1. I’m so sorry to hear that, but good news – you don’t need to have a kindle to read it. You can download the free kindle app on any phone or tablet and get it from there. If that doesn’t work, email me at author@lazeema-haq.com and I’ll see what I can do.

Edit – that email address may not work. Feel free to email me at lazeemahaq98 (at) gmail (dot) com

  4. Hi girl.Been busy with small trips in the country. We had our own Halloween. We call it carnavalia and it comes from the Romans when they celebrated saturnalia. It is a fist with a lot of pagan traditions. After that we have a period of almost 50 days before Easter. This period is almost like the Ramadan. What I read currently is whatever I find in Internet free pages.I do not watch anything in particular movies in general.want to watch black panther too as it has high marks by our critics. Can not wait to watch mutluluk zamani in dvd once more but it is almost impossible to have it here. Also elgin ‘s new project.Been also thrilled that you are writing follow you down 2.please please tell me that you are not planning to make a trilogy.what about alive too?kisses girl.

    1. I’m assuming this is Olia? Or maybe Noula? Lol. What do you have to do during those 50 days before Easter? Is it like Lent where you have to give up something?

If you get a chance, go watch Black Panther. It wasn’t perfect, but it was great and I enjoyed it. I’ve never found Michael B. Jordan especially attractive but as the bad guy in BP he’s EXCELLENT. Angry, determined, intense, and has the sexiest swagger you can imagine. I’ve watched the movie twice now and the second time was just for him. Haha.

Don’t worry, Follow You Down is a two-book series, not a trilogy. And Alive is one book. I really need some time to polish it. Sigh.

      Anyway, I’m glad you’re doing well ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. I’m so glad you have started on Follow you down book 2. I can’t wait to read that one also. When did you do Alive the book? When will Elcin new show start? I need something else to read I finished your book in few days and then I started to read a book also made by a fan of the Turkish series and I just finished reading the books she made 2 books they were great.

    1. Thanks, Patty. You’re so sweet. I’m actually thinking Alive will be next release and then the sequel to Follow You Down after that. BTW, are you going on that Turkish trip that you had linked me to? I’m contemplating my next vacation and Turkey is high up on the list.
